Transferring a Domain to Access Net

You already have a domain name registered on the Internet and wish to transfer the site to Access Net servers.
|
|
|
Transfer involves submission of a transfer request to the Registrar, delegation, identifying the presence of your domain to the net at large to an Access Net server and hosting, i.e. taking responsibility for and 24X7 hour maintenance of the domain.
Transfer is effected by ordering Domain Hosting.
The process normally involves:
Access Net establishing a Web directory on Client nominated server
Client transfers web content to Access Net server
Domain delegation established by Access Net
Domain Transfer requested of Registrar
A couple of days lead time is required to allow for caches to update
Original site location may then be closed down
