Some organisations require installation licenses for operation of their own onsite Access21 server. This might be warranted for high volume sites, for secure access within an enterprise firewall (i.e. as an Intranet site) or for commercial deployment, either as a generic web hosting service or service supplement, or as an ASP (application service provider).

Access21 is an Access Net proprietory web/database solution. The solution can be applied in various ways.
GST inclusive pricing at 10% follows
Cohosting License $11,000 license fee, $220 support fee/mth
Ideal where a high volume of data stored and retrieved by Access21. An Access21 server can be supplied and configured with Access21 Software for operation within a Commercial Licensed ISP. Access21 Server may be supplied by the client or by Access Net. Access Net supplies software, configures the server and supports the operation at the nominated ISP location. Fees are payable to the ISP for cohosting and to Access Net for Access21.
Intranet License $22,000 license fee, $220 support fee/mth
Servers can be supplied and configured with Access21 software for operation within the firewall of a enterprise. Servers may be supplied by the client or by Access Net. Access Net supplies software, configures servers for operation at the nominated client site. Similar to an ASP Inhouse License except that the Access21 solution is restricted to use by the enterprise.
ASP License $33,000 license fee, $330 support fee/mth
An Application Service Provider may use the license for use by its clients. This solution requires the ASP to have a permanent connection and typically includes provision for management of several client sites. Web and Access21 server software supplied, configured and supported by Access Net for operation inhouse by the Licensee.
Commercial License $55,000 license fee, Support, $550/mth
For example, Access Net Internet Services Pty Ltd is currently operating an Access21 service in Melbourne. Another ISP may be equipped to operate the service anywhere within Australia or overseas.
Access Net supplies software, configures servers and supports the operation at the nominated client site.
The following fees apply in addition to License fee (above):
License Upgrades
Licenses may be upgraded for the differential in license and support fees.
Support Agreement
- Mandatory for the duration of all licences, minimum 12 months, renewable annually.
- Provides Access21 support via phone (during business hours) and via same day email
- Includes direct connection to installed software for diagnosis and rectification of flaws
- Includes update of installed software for generally released enhancements to Access21 software.
- Entitlement to priority customised development of Access21 system - subject to quotation
Operational requirements
- Dual processor Pentium III, 1024Mb RAM, pair RAID Hard drives
- Linux, Apache, Tomcat, Java software platform
- UPS 10 minute capacity for auto shutdown
- External backup device
- Permanent (Fixed IP Address) connection, 64K ISDN or DSL

Prices are indicative and subject to quotation.
Configuration costs payable 50% on order, balance on handover for operation.
