Keep your password private and fresh
Treat your Access Net password as secure as you would a PIN number to your Bank Account.
Write down your new password somewhere. Do not keep a written copy of your password near your username/login name. Treat your password the same way you would your PIN number.
Replacing a forgotten password requires a $49.50 Network service fee.
Your new password must:
be between six and eight characters long.
contain a mix of upper and lower case characters and numbers.
not something guessable by anyone who knows a little about you, i.e. do not use the first few characters of your spouse's name followed by part of your telephone number.
not include real names or words, too easy to "crack".
Examples of good passwords are: tRo83D17, ko9rZ1s4
After specifying your new password, you MUST update your dialler and your email program so they they both quote the new password.
